It's coming...
Rowing Championships start tomorrow.
The Lady Dawgs are at Indy for the NCAA championships, and the Mighty Men are in NJ at the IRA's.
Anyone care for an update as things get under way?
All Husky shells either go to the semi's or the finals for Men AND Women. WOOF!
All 5 Men's boats won their heats with fastest times of the day for the crew. Sounds goofy I know.
The Women all go to the semi's tomorrow. The closest race of the day was Michigan eeking out a 2 place finish over the Lady Dawgs by .073 seconds. About ten times less than you can blink an eye. Literally a couple inches maybe.
Short and sweet today as I had to work and the BBQ needs tending to.
2 of the 3 womens boats will head to the finals tomorrow. If the 3rd boat wins the petite final they will finish #7 in the nation.
All 5 men's boats advanced to the finals tomorrow. Cal finally beat the men's V8 so the Dawgs are 2-1 on them this year. Tomorrow will be an epic battle.
As predicted, the Men won their 4th National tile in a row. They're 5 of the last 6 and that hasn't been done for over 100 years. They also take home their 8th consecutive Jim Ten Eyck Award. The next closest team has 4 in a row.
