CA Libs Never let a Good Tragedy Go to Waste
AB 1014 creates "Turn In Your Neighbor" restraining orders
AB 1014 is a NIGHTMARE for law-abiding gun owners!
ANYONE--including absolute strangers--CAN TURN YOU IN for being someone they "think" is a "significant risk"...for the mere possession of firearms.
With as little as a misunderstood Facebook post, your gun rights could be STRIPPED AWAY and your LIFE TURNED UPSIDE DOWN.
Courts would be MANDATED to issue a "Gun Violence Restraining Order" (GVRO).
Gun owners subject to a GVRO would be PROHIBITED from possessing firearms--WITHOUT WARNING.
Gun owners issued a GVRO would be subject to a "Firearm Seizure Warrant" and court-ordered CONFISCATION.
Law enforcement could SEIZE YOUR GUNS "from any place, or from any person"--including your friends and family--"in whose possession the firearm may be" at ANYTIME... day or night!
Another reason to move the F-k out..
ReplyDeleteVery bad, indeed. We've seen this coming, however. I wonder how long it will take for certain people to start "reporting" the local police officers and Deputies?
ReplyDeletePops
Nazis.
ReplyDeleteDemocrats and tree-hugging liberals.
ReplyDeleteAnd whats wrong with giving a standing brother a hug?
ReplyDeleteBetter then using em as backstops for targets.
Who you calling a liberal! ;)
We've (Oregonians) been wanting to put a fence around Ca. Ever since i can remember. We have slowly become a suburb of said state, and our laws/taxes show it . Money talks and country folk walk.
.. then stop letting them register their motorhomes up there (while still living in CA). It's a tax dodge.
ReplyDeleteI was born in California, and I couldn't stand to live there anymore.
Oregon's too expensive too.
Washington has also got to "pot".
No one seems to be in Utah ;)
The biggest problem is they sell a small piece of property down there, and then buy three up here to offset the taxes from the sale of the one down there.
ReplyDeleteThen they raise the rent.
Used ta not be so expensive here....
And all this time I thought the high prices were for that drop-dead coastal view..
ReplyDeleteWell, most of the old hippies will be moving to Washington and Colorado soon to get their freak-on with the legalization of pot.
Charge 'em tolls to pass through like you do with the commercial truckers!
Toll's on commercial truckers?
ReplyDeleteThats a new one on me.
The only economy a lot of county's have left is tourism, and boy do they milk it. There is a different price for the locals sometimes. The poorest counties are Josephine, Curry, and Coos. Over dependent on the logging industries, and when Warehouser ( Herr Warehauser bought the land with Nazi money for Adolph, but decided to stay and keep the land for himself) and G.P. over cut,
they shut the mills and left, literally guys went ta work and found the gates locked with security guards telling them ta go home, they no longer had jobs.
So now the number 1 industry is tourism.
Really, no Weyerhauser Lumber in Oregon anymore??
ReplyDeleteAs for truckers, a friend of mine is an owner/operator and has to buy a permit to pass through on every trip. That's a toll.
